The IV stand is ideal for use with patients with a limited number of infusions. Potential care areas include, but are not limited to, Rehab, DOU, the Emergency Department, Same-Day Surgery, Radiology, Med/Surg and Pediatrics.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Light Weight and Compact
At 9.5 pounds, the IV stand has smooth maneuverability requiring less patient effort during use and the compact base diameter of 18.7 inches minimizes the risk of tripping on the base during patient and patient/caregiver ambulation.
Adaptable Grip Hold
With 12 different hand-hold angles and no bare metal contact, the ergonomic hand grip design promotes patient comfort and ease of use.
Smooth Moving, Protected Casters
The IV stand has five casters which roll smoothly with a small turning radius. Wheel covers prevent the casters from slipping into narrow gaps.
Quick and Easy Height Adjustment
The IV stand height adjustment is quick and easy. The caregiver squeezes the vertical stopper knobs together to unlock, slides the upper pole to the desired height and releases to lock in place.
Stable Base
The convenient built-in step around the base can be supported by the caregiver's foot to keep the IV stand from moving, a feature especially helpful during infusion bag replacement.
Additional Accessories
Accessories are available for use with the IV stand to facilitate safe and easy ambulation for patients with other existing therapeutic equipment and/or a large volume IV infusion.
